Activity:
Blue Cross Romania is member of
the International Blue Cross. It was created in 1990, with the headquarter
in Sibiu.Blue
Cross Romania is an humanitarian and a christian association which provides
help or support to alcohol or drugs addicts. It is also providing
help for children which parents are alcoholics or drug addicts and also
for family members. We are partners with other NGO-s or other institutions
who provide social assistance. We also do prevention activity among children,
teenagers or to anybody request that.
Services:
We
provide:
- psychological counseling and therapy
- medical assistance
- spiritually assistance and guidance every time when this is requested
by the patients.
There are one "Phoenix"Ambulatory
Treatment Center in Sibiu, and two stationary treatment
centers, in Sura Mica the Nazareth Center for men
addicts and in Vurpar, Island of Hope Center for women
addicts.
Support:
We have good connections with similar institutions from Europe or United
States of America. Our effort to help the addicts is financially supported
from different internal incomes and also from external incomes or donations,
thanks to our friends, partners or sponsors from Germany, Switzerland, USA,
and other countries across Europe.
